Finding Sanity in Challenging Times, a talk by Acharya Dale Asrael

Dear Friends, We are delighted to let you know that visiting teacher Acharya Dale Asrael will be offering a talk at the Wellington Shambhala Centre next Thursday, 13th February. The title of the talk is “Finding Sanity in Challenging Times”, and will start at 7.00 pm. Dale Asrael is a very accomplished Buddhist teacher, and her talks are always inspiring and relevant. No booking is required, but please come a few minutes early, so that we can get people seated. The talk is free but a donation towards the continuation of our Centre is very much appreciated, especially as we will be looking for a new space after March. If you have not visited our Centre before, we are at 75, Ghuznee Street, Wellington. You will find the centre located on the 6th floor – just come in and join us. And do consider joining us for the weekend program “Confusion Dawns as Wisdom” on 15th and 16th February. With warm wishes and hoping to see you there,

Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana Practice

Community Event

Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana Practice

Friday 22nd April 2016

This is an opportunity for our community of members to come together to practice the Shambhala Sadhana.   We also welcome non-members to join us in the practice.  The Sadhana is a mindfulness/awareness practice that helps us connect with our humanity and particularly the worthiness of ourselves and others.   It is very experiential and relates directly to our lives.

Do come along and meet Helen Bennett from Auckland who will be joining us for the practice.  We will start at 6.00 pm with croissants and conversation.  The Sadhana practice will start at 6.30 pm and finish around 7.45 pm.  Please call 475 9223 if you wish to join us for croissants and conversation.

We will have copies of the text and there will be some basic instruction in the beginning.
